Kansas Anthropological Association

The Kansas Anthropological Association sponsors the Ambassadors’ Scholarship, encouraging students ages 18 - 25 to explore their interest in the field of archeology. The scholarship award includes payment of the participant’s KATP field school registration fees for either a portion of or the entire session. Recipients receive a name tag and one year’s individual membership in KAA, which includes receipt of the annual journal, The Kansas Anthropologist, and KAA newsletters. Members are encouraged to attend the annual meeting of the organization in the spring, the annual Certification Seminar, and special working events at Kansas Historical Society Archeology Lab.
