Why do we care?

All of the members of the KAA have a shared understanding that our history is important. Whether it is Precontact or after the first Europeans landed on the shores of the Americas, we must do our best to understand and preserve our shared heritage.

How do I become a member?

KAA memberships are for the calendar year (January 1 through December 31). Most memberships include publications including quarterly newsletters and our journal, The Kansas Anthropologist. The membership also includes participation in KAA activities such as seminars and lab events, as well as a discount for participation in the Kansas Archeology Training Program (KATP).
